A viral image on TikTok and Facebook claims that it shows current US President Donald Trump when he was a child, at a Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka.
Some posts are accompanied by captions claiming that Trump’s father, Fred Trump, sent him to a forest monastery in the Ruhuna (Southern) area of Sri Lanka during the 1950s to discipline him before his return to the US.
2. We then checked the image via AI-detection tools and were able to confirm via three of them that the image is AI-generated.
